Job Requirements
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Hospitality industry and working in a similar position.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Good level of English;
    • Good health, careful, enthusiastic, honest;
    • Efficient communication skill.
Job Responsibilities
  • Checking and reminding subordinates to always wear the correct uniform with a high standard of personal grooming and hygiene to avoid cross contamination of correspondence and other related paperwork;
  • Conduct regular inspection on the cleanliness and hygiene of all food service;
  • Overseeing and supervising all kitchen staff to ensure maximum performance and productivity;
  • Always maintain enough stock level for day to day Kitchen operation;
  • Assume other duties as assigned by Head Chef
  • Assisting senior staff in general kitchen operation to ensure quality control and
  • Ensure all subordinates report to work punctually and as scheduled.
  • Assist in the preparation of employee work roster to ensure everybody gets fair days off or holiday and ease manning allocation.
  • Manning coverage to provide the best cuisine possible for guests;
  • Assisting Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing departmental report;
  • Always ensure punctual attendance and act as role model for subordinates.
  • Prepare daily market purchase list to adjust stock level appropriately;
  • Prepare task list for hand-over of section to ensure efficient use of time and clear diseases from body to food, equipment and tools, communication of preparation work.
  • Controlling quality of received product from suppliers to ensure freshness, quality, hygiene and sanitation and pass rejection if necessary.
  • Maintain good relationships with food vendors areas;
  • Conduct daily briefing for staff to ensure open communication and share and update information.
